Both graduated from Humboldt State University, Robert with a degree in Environmental Science, and Brenda with a degree in Anthropology; their interests collided to create a wonderful line of products with ancient wisdom of the herbal traditions in a healthy, sustainable manner. Out of much playing, planning, and mishap, they have formulated several safe, effective, all natural, and organic herbal medicinals and pleasurables.

Brenda grew up in the diversity of the Northern California Redwoods, where she was always intrigued by the plants and animals that were about.  It was during college that she took a sincere interest in Herbal medicines and was able to use many of the plants she had grown so familiar with to heal a bothersome ailment for which Traditional Western Medicine was not proving effective. 

Post graduation, Brenda managed the practice of Dr. Kate McCaffrey, Osteopathic Physician and learned a great deal about the human body, holistic medicine, and the inter-relation with traditional western medicine.  A continuum of training in the way of herbs by Jane Bothwell of the Dandelion Herbal Center and Rosemary Gladstar, she offers to you these gifts.

After graduation, Robert worked as Parks and Maintenance crew leader where he developed an urban forestry program, lead volunteer days on planting herbs, shrubs and trees and gave instruction toward non-native control and sustainable harvesting.  He is currently employed as a Biologist for the State Department of Transportation continually improving his knowledge of plants and keeping an eye what is in bloom!
